Marketplace Policy
This Marketplace Policy governs the use of the MuscleLobby platform by all vendors, sellers, brands, distributors, and business entities listing or selling products on the Website. By registering as a seller, listing products, or using the vendor services available on MuscleLobby, sellers acknowledge and agree to comply with this Marketplace Policy along with all applicable Terms & Conditions, Vendor Policies, Privacy Policies, Return Policies, and any other guidelines communicated by MuscleLobby from time to time.
MuscleLobby operates solely as an intermediary marketplace platform facilitating transactions between customers and third-party sellers. MuscleLobby does not manufacture, own, stock, or directly sell vendor products unless specifically mentioned otherwise.
Seller Enrolment
To begin the onboarding and enrolment process, vendors are required to complete the registration process through the official vendor registration portal available on the Website.
During registration, sellers may be required to provide:
- Business or brand name;
- GST details;
- PAN card information;
- Bank account details;
- Identity verification documents;
- Business address and contact details;
- Product and brand-related information;
- Any additional compliance documentation requested by MuscleLobby.
MuscleLobby reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or terminate any seller registration at its sole discretion without assigning any reason.
Seller Eligibility
The use of the vendor platform is available only to persons and entities legally capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable laws. Persons considered “incompetent to contract” under applicable laws, including minors and undischarged insolvents, shall not register or operate as sellers on the platform.
If a seller registers on behalf of a company, business, or organization, the seller represents and warrants that they possess lawful authority to bind such entity to this Marketplace Policy.
Vendor Responsibilities
All vendors, sellers, and brands listing products on MuscleLobby are solely responsible for their operations, products, conduct, listings, and legal compliance obligations.
By using the platform, vendors acknowledge and agree to comply with the responsibilities outlined below.
1. Product Information Accuracy
Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy, authenticity, reliability, and completeness of all product-related information provided on the platform.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Product titles and descriptions;
- Ingredients and nutritional information;
- Usage instructions and warnings;
- Pricing and stock availability;
- Product specifications;
- Certifications and compliance claims;
- Product images and packaging details;
- Marketing claims and promotional information.
All information shared with customers must be truthful, lawful, non-misleading, and compliant with applicable laws and industry standards.
2. Product Quality & Authenticity
Vendors are fully responsible for the quality, legality, safety, authenticity, and compliance of all products listed and sold on MuscleLobby.
All products must:
- Be genuine and legally sourced;
- Be properly labelled and packaged;
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations;
- Meet required health and safety standards;
- Contain valid manufacturing and expiry details where applicable;
- Comply with FSSAI and other relevant supplement or nutrition regulations.
The sale of counterfeit, fake, unauthorized, expired, unsafe, prohibited, or adulterated products is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension, legal action, permanent account termination, or reporting to relevant authorities.
3. Packaging, Storage & Shipping Responsibility
Vendors are responsible for maintaining proper storage conditions, hygiene standards, packaging quality, and handling procedures to ensure products remain safe and undamaged during transit.
All products must be packed securely and professionally using suitable packaging materials. Any damage resulting from poor packaging shall be the sole responsibility of the seller.
Vendors agree:
- To process orders within committed timelines;
- To dispatch products promptly after receiving confirmed orders;
- To ensure delivered products match listing descriptions and images;
- To provide accurate product weight and dimensions for logistics calculations.
If discrepancies arise between seller-declared weight and courier-measured weight, the courier measurement may be treated as final for logistics charge calculations.
4. Customer Complaints & Dispute Resolution
Vendors shall remain solely liable and accountable for all issues related to their products including but not limited to:
- Defective products;
- Damaged shipments;
- Incorrect or missing products;
- Manufacturing defects;
- Quality concerns;
- Side effects or adverse reactions;
- MRP mismatch;
- Incorrect specifications;
- Wrong size or flavour deliveries;
- Customer dissatisfaction.
Vendors agree to handle refunds, replacements, returns, warranties, exchanges, and customer grievances in a fair, professional, and timely manner.
While MuscleLobby may facilitate communication between buyers and sellers, the platform shall not be held liable for product-specific disputes, claims, damages, or customer complaints arising from vendor products.

5. Legal, Tax & Compliance Obligations
Vendors are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, taxation rules, invoicing obligations, product regulations, licensing requirements, and statutory compliance obligations.
Vendors are responsible for:
- Issuing valid invoices;
- Maintaining transaction records;
- Filing applicable taxes;
- Maintaining required business registrations;
- Ensuring lawful sale of products;
- Complying with supplement and food safety regulations.
6. Product Pricing & Payout Structure
Vendors are required to provide accurate and competitive listing prices for all products listed on the platform.
The final customer-facing price may include applicable shipping or delivery charges depending on logistics conditions, customer location, product category, weight, offers, or promotional campaigns.
MuscleLobby currently does not charge any direct commission on product listings or sales unless communicated otherwise.
For every successfully delivered order, whether prepaid or Cash on Delivery (COD), final vendor payout shall be processed after deduction of applicable logistics or delivery charges.
Delivery and logistics charges may vary depending on:
- Delivery location;
- Package weight or dimensions;
- Courier partner pricing;
- Operational handling charges;
- Promotional or shipping offers.
Final Vendor Payout Formula:
Final Vendor Payout = Listing Price – Delivery / Logistics Charges
Example Calculation
Example 1 – Free Delivery:
Listing Price: ₹1000
Delivery Charges: ₹80
Final Vendor Payout: ₹920
Example 2 – Delivery Fee Paid by Customer:
Listing Price: ₹1000
Customer Delivery Fee: ₹100
Actual Logistics Cost: ₹70
Final Vendor Payout: ₹930
Payout reports may be shared periodically with vendors. Any payout-related disputes or discrepancies should be reported within the specified dispute period communicated by MuscleLobby.
7. Returns, Refunds & Reverse Logistics
Vendors agree to accept valid return shipments initiated under applicable return or refund policies.
All return disputes, damaged return claims, or shipment concerns must be reported within the timelines communicated by MuscleLobby. Failure to report issues within the applicable timeframe may result in rejection of such claims.
8. Prohibited Activities
Vendors agree not to engage in fraudulent, deceptive, unlawful, or unethical practices including but not limited to:
- Manipulating reviews or ratings;
- Misrepresenting brands or products;
- Selling fake or unauthorized products;
- Violating intellectual property rights;
- Using misleading product claims;
- Misusing customer information;
- Colluding with customers for fraudulent claims;
- Providing false business documentation.
Violation of Marketplace Policies may result in:
- Listing removal;
- Penalty deductions;
- Account suspension;
- Permanent account termination;
- Legal action where applicable.
9. Transfer of Product Ownership
Ownership of products shall remain with the seller until successful delivery of the product to the customer.
MuscleLobby acts solely as a marketplace facilitator and does not assume ownership, title, or liability for vendor products.
10. Platform Rights
MuscleLobby reserves the right to:
- Review product listings;
- Monitor seller performance;
- Modify platform policies;
- Suspend or terminate seller accounts;
- Remove listings violating platform rules;
- Take necessary action to maintain customer trust and marketplace integrity.
11. Indemnification
Vendors agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MuscleLobby, its owners, employees, affiliates, agents, partners, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, penalties, legal actions, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Vendor products;
- Seller operations;
- Violation of laws or regulations;
- Customer disputes;
- Intellectual property infringement;
- False product claims;
- Regulatory non-compliance.
